Charlene P. Fairhurst

Charlene P. Fairhurst, 71, of Manchester, died November 4, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on July 15, 1946 to Alfred and Edna (Douville) Fairhurst. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester and had everlasting memories of the farm in Chester. She also earned a degree from NH College.

Charlene devoted much of her life as caretaker to both of her parents. She had an interest in writing and genealogy and had recently reaffirmed her faith in God.

The family includes two brothers, Alfred C. Fairhurst Jr. and his wife, Pamela, of Agawam, MA and Edward J. Fairhurst and his wife, Donna, of Kissimmee, FL; and nieces and nephews.

A cemetery committal service was held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Shaw Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
