Charles E. Biron, 92, of Manchester, died March 20, 2022 at his home after a sudden illness.
He was born in Manchester on June 19, 1929 to Hilaire and Pauline (Couture) Biron. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Charles worked at Coca Cola Bottling Company in Manchester and Salem for many years. He served in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, clam digging and oystering. He also enjoyed painting and was a member of the Manchester Artist Association.
He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Constance Caron and a grandson, Michael Biron who entered heaven at age 7.
Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Suzanne (Pinard) Biron of Manchester; four children, Monique Rooney and her husband, James, of Bedford, Marc Biron and his wife, Kristen, of Manchester, Joseph Biron and his wife, Patricia, of South Carolina and Gilbert Biron and his wife, Elizabeth, of Waterville Valley; six grandchildren, Meghan, James, Anna, Justin, Joseph and Charles; three great grandchildren, Marcus, Nathan and Hannah; two siblings, Roland Biron of Manchester and Gilbert Biron and his wife, Helen, of Florida; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester.
