Charles A. "Charlie" Dusseault

March 15, 1932 — October 15, 2016

Charles A. "Charlie" Dusseault, 84, of Goffstown, died October 15, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Manchester March 15, 1932 to Gustave and Laura (Beaudoin) Dusseault and was educated in Manchester schools.

He was a Korean War veteran having served in the 7th Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He earned two Bronze Service Stars, United Nations Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in October of 1960. In 2016 he was honored with the Ambassador of Peace Medal by the Korean Government.

Charlie was a lifelong member of the Carpenter's Union Local 625. He was also a member of Parish of the Transfiguration.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Charlie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Frances (Francoeur) Dusseault of Goffstown; five children, Charlene Y Nichols and her companion, Bruce Hookailo, of Goffstown, Michael P. Dusseault of Goffstown, JoAnn M. Fisher and husband, Gerald, of Bedford, Charles R. Dusseault and wife, Kristen, of Manchester, and Steven R. Dusseault and wife, Rebecca, of Manchester; his grandchildren, Kelly, Chuck, Brooke, Travis, Caitlin, Michelle, Kathryn, Jennifer, Andy, Corey, Jill, Greg, and Bret; great grandchildren, Kyla, Tyler, Rory, Madison, Savannah, Charlie, Michael, Kaylee and Andrew; his twin brother, Rene Dusseault and wife, Carol, of Concord; five sisters, Marie Rose Belanger of Goffstown, Rita Lavalliere of Manchester, Therese Giovanelli of Virginia, and Gertrude Lavalliere and Lucille Montminy both of Manchester; his sister in-law, Therese Dusseault; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Louis, Ernest, George and Jeanne Biron.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

To the staff at Amedysis Hospice, there are no words to begin thanking you for all that you did in caring for my husband and our father. We are forever grateful.
