Charles E. LeVeille, 78, of Manchester, died July 20, 2023 at Concord Hospital after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on December 18, 1944 to Charles and Helen (Laplante) LeVeille. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
As a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, he served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 1st Force Reconnaissance.
Charles had worked at Grassland Equipment in Schenectady, NY, Turf Products Corporation in Auburn, MA and Energy North Propane in Concord. He also owned and operated a golf equipment repair service.
He was a former American Legion State Commander and a Gold Card member and former commander of Sweeney Post #2. He was also a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Elks Lodge #146 and the Raphael Club.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gail (Pollock) LeVeille in 2012.
Charles is survived by two sons, Brian LeVeille and his wife, Lynn, of Bedford and Brendan LeVeille and his fiance, Aysen Tan, of Manchester and four grandchildren, Jillian, Jordan, Jaxson and Ayla LeVeille.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday (7/24) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday (7/25) at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sweeney Post Baseball and mailed to 251 Maple St., Manchester, NH 03101.
