Charles W. Clement, Sr., just shy of turning 95, passed away July 15, 2021 at Elliot Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Rochester on July 26, 1926, he was the son of the late Arnold and Renee "Stella" (VanBuskirk) Clement, Sr. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School and worked as a General Agent with Allstate Insurance for 32 years before retiring in 1995. He served in the US Air Force for 2 years and was a WWII veteran.
Surviving family includes his beloved wife of 66 years, Rachel A. (Vanness) Clement of Manchester; one daughter, Jennifer Hackendorf and husband James of Brookline; two sons, Charles Clement, Jr. and wife Heather of Milford and Peter Clement and wife Jennifer of PA; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Josiah, Amy, Katelyn, Tyler, Elise, Andrew and Danielle; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Carlene Scott; and one brother, Dwight Clement. He was predeceased by both parents, two sisters, Sandra Pagano and June Styles; and one brother, Arnold Clement, Jr.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
