Charles Francis Wojcik, 83, of Candia NH passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at his home. Chuck was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was born in Manchester, on July 21, 1941, to Paul and Agnes (Houghton) Wojcik. He was schooled in Manchester and graduated from Manchester Central High in 1959.

After graduation, Charles joined the US Navy in 1959 and served for 5 years as an Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class with his last tour aboard the USS Menhaden, a diesel-powered submarine.

Following his service to our country, he worked as a General Foreman Electrician at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for more than 35 years. He believed in volunteer work and for more than 40 years served as member of the Candia Volunteer Fire Department. He also gave his time coaching his sons Candia Little League Baseball Teams and provided handyman services to maintain the buildings for St. Paul’s Church.

Chuck had many interests that he enjoyed throughout his life, most of which involved being outdoors. In his younger days he loved taking snowmobile trips, going on cruises with his wife and spending summers at the beach. He loved driving his tractor on his property he proudly called “Chucky World”. During family get togethers he often prevailed as the winner in cornhole.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Rita Wojcik (Vincent); their 3 children, Judith Casey and her husband Thomas of Manchester, NH, James Wojcik and his wife Becky of Candia, NH, Charles Wojcik and his wife Patricia of Townsend, DE; his six grandchildren, Maximillian, Danika, Jacey, Seana, Ryan and Jake.

Charles was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Paul Wojcik and Anthony Wojcik.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory may be made to the Candia Volunteer Fire Fighters Association P.O. Box 72 Candia NH 03034.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday April 29, 2025, at Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. Following the visitation, a funeral service with military honors will take place in the Lambert Funeral Home Chapel.
