Charlotte R. Weidenmuller

December 30, 1933 — December 5, 2017

Charlotte (Char) Ranney Weidenmuller, 83, of Bedford, NH passed away in the loving presence of her children during the afternoon of Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Charlotte was born in Owensboro, Kentucky and raised in Hartford, Kentucky by her late parents, Guy and Gwendolyn (Martin) Ranney. Charlotte graduated from Murray State University as a Registered Nurse rising in her career to Head Nurse at a Cardiac Care Unit in Virginia.

Charlotte met her wonderful husband of 54 years, Robert O. (Bob) Weidenmuller, while stationed at McCoy Air Force Base in Orlando, Florida where she was a First Lieutenant in the Air Force as a nurse and Bob was a pilot. Charlotte and Bob raised their family in Springfield, Virginia, retiring to Owensboro, Kentucky in 2005. After Bob's passing in 2013, Charlotte moved to Bentley Commons Assisted Living Facility in Bedford, New Hampshire to be close to her daughter.

Her greatest love and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will always remember their Grammy.

Charlotte is survived by her three children and their spouses: Steve and Lee Weidenmuller of Orlando, Florida; Beth Weidenmuller Richeson and Kent Richeson of Bedford, New Hampshire; and Bob and Terri Weidenmuller of Landenberg, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and spouses: Sara Richeson, engaged to Bradford Harris (Washington, DC); Lauren Weidenmuller Michener and Joe Michener (West Chester, PA); Kristen Weidenmuller (Mechanicsburg, PA); Katherine Richeson Gough and Ryan Gough (Boston, MA); Emily Weidenmuller (Orlando, FL); Kyle and Torrie Weidenmuller (West Grove, PA); and Erin Weidenmuller, engaged to Kienan Miller (Orlando, FL). Charlotte felt blessed to live to see her two great grandchildren, Kaelyn Grace Weidenmuller (West Grove, PA) and George Hayes Richeson Gough (Boston, MA).

In her lifetime, Charlotte enjoyed traveling and being with family and friends. Her family is grateful for the caring community at Bentley Commons, where Char enjoyed many hours of watching 'her birds' and dining with friends. Because Char cared about giving 'voice to the voiceless,' memorial donations may be given to Dismas Home of New Hampshire, 102 Fourth St., Manchester, NH 03102.
