Cheryl Ann Gilbert, 65, of Goffstown, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at her home on March 15th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Manchester, NH, on May 1, 1959, Cheryl grew up in Manchester and graduated from Memorial High School in 1977. She was a woman of great strength, warmth, and dedication—qualities that were evident in every aspect of her life. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Cheryl's career spanned decades, with her most recent role as a Human Resources professional at a law firm in Concord, NH. She found great pride and fulfillment in her work, making lasting impacts on the people she encountered throughout her career.

Cheryl was a passionate host, often organizing family gatherings during the holidays where love and laughter filled the air. She also had a deep appreciation for live music, with the Dave Matthews Band being one of her favorite performers. Cheryl cherished the time she spent traveling, particularly her visits to Jamaica with her husband Doug.

Cheryl was predeceased by her father, John Ine. She is survived by her loving mother, Joan Ine; her devoted husband, Douglas Gilbert; her son, Thomas French and his wife, Ashley, along with her beloved granddaughter, Rory. She is also survived by her siblings, Jay Ine, Marylee (Ine) Lunderville, as well as her nieces, Amanda Torre and her husband, Robert, and their son, Marley; and Ashley McCassin and her husband, Mark.

Cheryl will be remembered for her kindness, her boundless love for her family, and her unyielding spirit. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

SERVICES: Calling hours are on Monday (3/24) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
