Cheryl Ann Larkey, 61, of Manchester died January 4, 2019 at her residence after a period of declining health.
Born in Gardner, MA on May 20, 1957, she was the daughter of Anthony J. and Eleanor A. (Pociecha) Larkey. She graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and attended St. Anselm College. She earned her degree in Arts & Illustration from the New Hampshire Institute of Art.
Prior to her illness, she had been employed by the State of New Hampshire in the Manchester prison system and had also spent many years as the manager of New Horizons for NH Food Pantry.
Cheryl was an avid reader who had a love of art and history. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter and sister who will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her brother, John Larkey.
Family members include her parents, Anthony and Eleanor Larkey of Manchester; her sister, Ann M. Larkey of Dover; her dear friends, Gerald Demers of Manchester and E. Rene Butcher of Dover; an aunt, Beverley Pociecha of Mauldin, SC; several cousins.
A memorial service was held on Sunday January 27, 2019 in St. Paul's United Methodist Church 335 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH .
Committal prayers were in the mausoleum at Pine Grove Cemetery.
