Chrisanthe (Joseph) Taylor, 86, of Manchester, died November 17, 2016 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on February 8, 1930 to Mitty and Kleanthi (Christo) Joseph. She graduated from Central High School in 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Chrisanthe was employed by the City of Manchester in the city clerk's office for many years. She enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Richard G. Taylor in 2012 and by five siblings, Joseph Joseph, Virginia Schoff, Louise Anastas, Patricia Adams and Nora Tito.
The family includes two sons, R. Scott Taylor and his wife, Karen, of Bedford and Mark Taylor of Manchester; two granddaughters, Kelly Hock and her husband, Christopher, of Manchester and Stefanie Taylor and her boyfriend, Adam Perkins, of Bedford; two great grandchildren, Wyatt Hock and Lennox Perkins; a brother, George "Butch" Joseph and his wife, Jane, of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
