Christine E. "Christa" Ackerman

Christine E. "Christa" Ackerman, 71, of Palm Coast, FL and formerly of Manchester, NH died April 2, 2018 at Florida Hospital Flagler, after a sudden illness.

Christa was born in Montabaur, Germany July 28, 1946 the daughter of Karl and Margerethe (Kochem) Fausten. She grew up in Germany and soon after marriage moved to Manchester, NH where she lived for many years before moving to Palm Coast 15 years ago.

Before her retirement Christa worked at Hanover Hill Health Care Center in Manchester, NH for 28 years.

She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Ormond Beach, FL. and a member of the Columbian Club in Palm Coast.

She leaves her husband of 48 years, Richard A. Ackerman of Palm Coast, FL; a son, Thomas G. Ackerman and his wife, Tina, of Goffstown, NH; a cousin, Ingrid Buchwald of Frankfurt, Germany; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH.

Interment followed in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH
