He was born in Franconia, NH on February 4, 1949, the son of Norwood and Natalie (Bodwell) Ball. He was educated in the Franconia school system.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Most recently, he had been employed by Vantage Builders in Waltham, MA. Previously, he had worked with Prism Builders and the Boston Development Company.
Chris had a lifelong passion of all things motorsports. With his family, he was as helpful and loving as the day is long.
Family members include his wife, Lisa B. (Zielinski) Ball of Manchester; two sons, Nicholas J. Lamy of Manchester and Philip Miles of Lyman, ME; his mother, Betty Ball of Franconia; his sister, Cam of Berlin;
three brothers, Greg Ball and his wife Eileen of Franconia, David Ball and his wife Becky of Barrington, and Brad Ball of Franconia; his lil' buddy, Jordan Torres; many nephews, nieces, cousins and Zielinski in-laws.
He was predeceased by his sister Robin.
The funeral service was held Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Carole Mento officiating. After cremation, urn burial will be in Franconia.
