Claire D. Bartosiewicz

She was born in Manchester on February 22, 1924 to Frederick and Jenny Marie (St. Cyr) Dubois. She graduated from St. Anthony High School in Manchester, where she lived for most of her life before moving to Laconia 25 years ago.

Claire worked at Modern Appliance and Dubois Furniture, both in Manchester, for many years. She was a warm and welcoming homemaker who enjoyed cooking, dancing and singing.

She was married to Joseph L. Bartosiewicz who died in 2008. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Maurice Dubois and Normand Dubois.

The family includes three children, Robert Bartosiewicz and his significant other, Maureen McGinty, of Laconia, and Carol Bartosiewicz, and Gary Bartosiewicz and his wife, Beth, all of Manchester; four grandchildren, Renee, Ryan, Jeffery and Elizabeth; two great grandchildren, Nicolas and Riley; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Road and Sarto Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
