Claire M. Beaurivage

Claire M. Beaurivage, 86, of Manchester, died March 11, 2008 at Mount Carmel Nursing Home after a period of declining health surrounded by loving family and compassionate caregivers.

She was born on March 27, 1921 in Manchester, the daughter of Gerry and Laura (LaFlamme) Pouliot. She was raised by her stepmother, Dora Pouliot, whom she considered the best mother in the world.

Mrs. Beaurivage was a lifelong resident of Manchester and educated in Manchester schools. For many years she worked at her father's restaurants, Gerry's Lunch in Manchester and Dora's Seafood Restaurant at Hampton Beach. She later worked as a cashier at Mammoth Mills for more than 20 years and for a short time at the VA Hospital before her retirement.

Mrs. Beaurivage was a long-term communicant of St. Theresa Church where she enjoyed singing with the choir. She loved to play cards, read and cook. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who enjoyed socializing with family and friends.

Mrs. Beaurivage was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Robert J. Beaurivage.

The family includes two sons, Robert Beaurivage of Auburn and Richard Beaurivage of Goffstown; two daughter-in-laws, Dr. Nancy Beaurivage of Auburn and Catherine Blades of Goffstown; three grandchildren, Keith Beaurivage of Manchester, Carrie Beaurivage of Weare, and James Beaurivage of Philadelphia; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Eastman and Jacob Duguay of Weare; one brother, Robert Pouliot of Manchester; one sister-in-law, Paulette Pouliot of Manchester; special cousins, Ray and Sissy Corriveau of Jacksonville, FL; many nephews and nieces; friend and traveling companion Helen Noga of Auburn.

The Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday March 15, 2008 in Blessed Sacrament Church, So. Elm St, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
