Born in Manchester on February 17, 1927, she was the daughter of Alpheda and Ida (Martel) Ducharme. She was educated at St. Anthony of Padua School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Belaski was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality at St. Anthony Parish for 55 years.
She enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and line dancing. She was a member of the Queen City Promenaders, the Heel and Toe Square Dance Club and the Boot Scootin' Boomers. She held positions as president, banner chairman and secretary for these organizations for many years.
She also participated in many charitable events to benefit the Crotchet Mountain Rehabilitation Center.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes her husband of 60 years, Jules Belaski of Manchester; five children, Diane Allerdice and her husband, Stephen of Merrimack, Janine Poisson and her husband, Michael, Laurie Irish, Ronald Belaski and Raymond Belaski all of Manchester; six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jay, Timothy, Michael, Aimy and Jessica; five great grandchildren, Caitlynn, Cari, Samantha, Alyssa and Liam; a brother, Robert Ducharme of Dracut, MA; an aunt, Aurea Crevier and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by three sisters, Lorraine Ducharme, Irene Clermont and Rachel Brouillette.
Claire was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She spent many evenings playing cards with her lifelong friends.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday February 7, 2008 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
