Claire C. Belisle

Born April 16, 1917 in Manchester, she was the daughter of Eugene and Bernadette (Desfosses) Cullerot.

She was educated in Manchester and was employed at several area factories prior to retirement.

An avid golfer for many years and former member of the Derryfield Country Club, she was also a skilled quilter, knitter and seamstress.

Prior to returning to Manchester in 2000, she and her husband, Walter N. Belisle, lived in Ft. Myers, FL, where he died in 1998. They had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 24, 1992.

The family includes four daughters, Judith Conway, Janice Beaudet and her husband, Lucien, Gail Allard and her husband, Denis, and Karen Hendershot; seven grandchildren, Deirdre Conway, Michael Conway, Gary Allard, Stacey Allard, Lynne Lamontagne, Kara Sparrow and Matthew Hendershot; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice Cullerot and Paul Cullerot; and three sisters, Simone Pelissier, Rita Gufstason and Doris Anderson.

Services were private and burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
