Claire M. Blais

She was born in Magog, PQ July 14, 1917 and was the daughter of Joseph and Florina (Hamel) Belanger.

Claire worked many years as a nurse's aide for the former Notre Dame Hospital.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and was a member of The Third Order of St. Francis.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey F. Blais in 1978 and three of her brothers, all of Canada.

IN HER LIFE:

Members of her family include three sons, Claude H. Blais and his wife, Mary, of Zephyrhills FL, Andre L. Blais and his wife, Marcia, of Barrington, NH, and Jean Blais and his wife, Nancy, of Bedford NH; three daughters, Miss Ann-Marie Blais of Bedford NH, Lise Sherlock and her husband, John, of Arlington VA and Denise Prado and her husband, Gilles, of Salinas CA; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Marthe Bedard of Sherbrooke, PQ; and several nieces nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, October 19, 2009 in Sacred Heart Church 223 South Main St. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the New Hampshire Special Olympics 650 Elm St. Manchester NH 03101
