Claire Y. (Lavallee) Boisvert, 85, of Hooksett, died suddenly March 14, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Manchester on March 10, 1932, she was the daughter of Oscar and Tharsille (Lebel) Lavallee. She was educated in the local school system and graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls.
She devoted her life to her family as family always came first. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who cherished her time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed frequent visits to St. Catherine's Parish and Precious Blood. She was also a true New England Patriots fan.
She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Florian P. "Phil" Boisvert of Hooksett; two sons, Donald Boisvert and wife Mary of Hooksett, David Boisvert and wife Sandra of Laconia; four daughters, Janet DuGrenier and husband David of Dunbarton, Carol Henderson and husband Walter of Hillsborough, Ann-Marie Hetzel and husband Dennis of Candia, Lynn Kelly and husband James of Londonderry; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Collette.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, March 20, 2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Catherine Parish's Building Fund, 207 Hemlock St, Manchester, NH 03104.
