Claire E. Caouette

Claire E. (Thibault) Caouette, 85, of Manchester died December 4, 2001 in her residence after a sudden illness.

Born in Greenville on May 18, 1916, she was the daughter of Adelard and Fedora (Caron) Thibault. She lived most of her life in Greenville and 10 years in La Mesa, CA before moving to Manchester.

Mrs. Caouette had worked at Greenville Mills.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice H. Caouette Sr. in 1998 and by a son, Maurice H. Caouette Jr. in 1994.

The family includes three daughters, Sr. M. Longina of Cameroon, Africa, Therese Leblanc of Lorraine, Quebec, Canada and Georgette Caouette of Manchester; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Marie-Ange Thibault and Therese Bourgault both of Greenville and Anita Lambert of Winchendon, MA; nieces and nephews.

There were no calling hours. A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated December 8, 2001 in Sacred Heart Church, 223 So. Main St., Manchester. After cremation, urn burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson.
