 Claire L. (Champagne) Duclos, 85, of Manchester, died November 3, 2024 at Catholic Medical Center, after a period of declining health.

 She was born in Manchester on July 26, 1939 to Ronaldo and Yvonne (Marcotte) Champagne. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

 She worked as a self-employed housekeeper for many years. In her younger years, she also worked at Manchester area textile mills.

 Claire was a devout Catholic and a longtime active communicant of Ste. Marie Church where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a sociable person who enjoyed going to eat at the Bag Lunch in Goffstown. She also enjoyed sewing and playing the accordion and keyboard, especially at church events.

 She was predeceased by four siblings, Emery Champagne, Lorraine Armstrong, Lucien Champagne and Arthur Champagne and by her ex-husband, Andre “Duke” Duclos.

 Claire is survived by four children, Louise Duclos of North Carolina, Marc Duclos of Deerfield and Paul Duclos and Richard Duclos, both of Hooksett; ten grandchildren, Tina Elisha, Christopher, Jason, Genavieve, Nathan, Bernard, Richard, Kurt and J’Lillian; 17 great grandchildren, Jayden, Adelynn, Tristen, Gabriel, Abigail, Alexander, Alexandria, Cynthia, Jameson, Tristan, Eden, Zavier, Olivia, Alise, Ellison, Ainhoa and Zoe; a brother, Donald Champagne; and many nieces and nephews. 

 SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday (11/11) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday (11/12) at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
