Claire H. Durette

She was born in Claremont, NH January 2, 1930 and was the daughter of Simeon and Emma (Marquis) Sweeney. She had been a Manchester resident most of her life.

She was a communicant of St. Marie Church.

She leaves her husband of 53 years, George L. Durette of Manchester; two sons, Raymond Durette and his wife, Francine, of Flowermound, TX and Joseph Durette of Manchester, NH; three daughters, Jacqueline Kling and her husband, Bruce, of Derry, NH Jeannine Flachbart and her husband, Tom, of Stratham, NH and Constance Brigham and her husband, David, of Bedford, NH; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Hubert Sweeney of Manchester, NH; a sister, Madeleine Sweeney of Manchester, NH; nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted wife and loving mother who will be missed forever.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
