She was born in Manchester, February 26, 1930 and was the daughter of Edward and Lucie (Chevalier) Vanasse. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
Claire had worked for RCL Electronics for several years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rosaire Gagnon in 2002 and by a son, Dennis R. Gagnon in 1971.
IN HER LIFE: She leaves a daughter, Arlene Lopata-Houle of Manchester; a granddaughter, Meghan Lopata-Sherwin of Manchester; three great grandchildren, Madison Sherwin, Aulora Gray and David Gray Jr.; a step sister, Lorette Billy of Lake Tamarac, FL; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at St. Pius X Church. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
