Claire P. LaLanne, 79, lifelong resident of Manchester, died March 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on December 16, 1937, she was the daughter of George E. and Florida R. (Tremblay) Favreau. She was educated in the local parochial schools and attended St. Anthony High School.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by various local companies including Dorson Fleischer Shoe Company, Colonial Supply and Providian in Concord, NH.
She was a long-time communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish.
She loved making chocolate treats for family and friends and cherished every moment she was able to spend with her family.
Members of her family include her daughters, Pauline Geas of Manchester, Denise Boisvert and husband Mikel of Manchester, Christine De Blois and husband Ronald of Hollis; her son, Daniel LaLanne of Manchester; her grandchildren, James Geas Jr, Erik Boisvert, David and Roger Provencher, Amanda Whary, and Kylee LaLanne; her great-grandchildren, Violet and Lily Provencher and Liam Whary; her brother, Paul Favreau Sr; her former husband, Gordon W. LaLanne; many nephews, nieces, aunts and cousins.
A service was held on Friday, March 10, 2017 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery at a later date.
