Claire V. Provost

Claire V. Provost, 89, of Manchester, died October 7, 2004, at Ridgewood Center, Bedford a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester, NH on August 8, 1915 the daughter of Zephyr and Flora (Guertin) Ledoux. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mrs. Provost was a communicant of St. Augustin Parish and belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis, the Sodality of St. Anne, and the Society of the Precious Blood.

She was predeceased by a son, Maurice E. Provost and a daughter, Carmel Levesque.

Family members include her husband of 71 years, Edward M. Provost, of Manchester; 6 children, Muriel Simmons of Derry, Jeannine Miville of Auburn, Suzanne Auger of Goffstown, Claudette Talbot of Bradenton, FL, Edward Provost of Sarasota, FL, and Victoria Pero of Venice, FL; a sister, Therese Tardif, of Manchester; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday October 11, 2004 in St. Anne - St. Augustin Church, 373 Beech St., Manchester.

Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester
