Claire E. Tremblay 95, former longtime resident of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in Ocala, Florida after a period of declining health. 

Born on August 27, 1929 in Manchester, she was the daughter to the late Joseph and Leda (Bergeron) Tremblay. She was a Graduate of St. Anthony High School and went on to work for Tremblay Brothers Plumbing as an office manager and later Colonial Supply Company, proudly retiring at the age of 72. 

 Deeply devoted to her faith, Claire was a longtime active member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish and the Ladies of St. Anne. 

 Claire loved to travel the world, some of her favorite memories were those made in Italy, Jerusalem, France, Ireland, Denmark, England and Germany. She also had a passion for live theater and enjoyed attending musicals on Broadway, especially productions featuring Jennifer Simard. In her later years, she found joy in the simple pleasure of playing bingo. 

 Claire will be remembered most for her kindness and generosity. Above all, spending time with her nieces and nephews was most important. 

 Claire is sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. 

 In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Bertha “Adrienne” Carignan, Florida Favreau, Simone Bissonnette, Cecile Simard, Beatrice Dionne, Ernest, Ralph, Armand, Laurent, Henri and Maurice Tremblay. 

 Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10am at St. Anthony Padua Church, 172 Belmont, St., Manchester, NH. Burial will follow in the family lot at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
