Claudette J. Gillis

Born in Bedford on November 6, 1965, she was the daughter of Raymond A. and Therese (Bonenfant) Jacob. She graduated from West High School and earned her associate's degree from Southern NH University.

Most recently, she had been employed as a purchasing specialist with McClellan Automation Systems in Merrimack.

Claudette will be remembered as a generous soul with a true passion for life. She loved exercising, knitting scarves, socks, etc for others, and absolutely adored her two dogs Maggie and Riley.

Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister who will be greatly missed.

Family members include her husband of 24 years Daniel Gillis of Bedford; one son, Derek Gillis of Bedford; a daughter, Maria Gillis of Bedford; her parents of Bedford; one brother, Philippe Jacob of Wichita, KS. She was predeceased by her sister Jocelyn Vanni in 1999.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Road, Bedford.
