Claudette M. Halle, 82, of Manchester died February 15, 2018 at Villa Crest Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Manchester on May 1, 1935, she was the daughter of Mendoza and Anna (Dubois) Asselin. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School for Girls and a lifelong resident of the city.
Claudette worked for many years as office manager for McDonough & O'Shaughnessy Law Firm before retiring in 1992.
She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, wintering in Florida, spending summers at the lake, reading and spending time with her family. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
Claudette was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald Halle in 2013.
Family includes two sons, Kenneth Halle and wife Renee of Manchester ; and Daniel Halle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren, Amanda Bates and husband Ryan, Thomas Halle and wife Hannah, and Laura Ashburner and husband Ben; and two great grandchildren, Jackson and Jordan Halle. She was also predeceased by one brother, Robert Asselin; and her aunt and uncle, Albert and Regina Heneault, who helped raise her.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, February 19, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt.
