She was born in Manchester on August 1, 1942 to Roger and Lucille (Charpentier) Guilbert. She lived in Bedford and Hooksett for many years.
Mrs. Rousseau worked in the accounting department for the Union Leader newspaper for 10 years. She had also attended nursing school.
She enjoyed tennis, bowling, roller skating, cribbage, boating, camping and traveling, especially to Aruba. She also spent many hours by the pool with her grandchildren.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
The family includes her husband of 49 years, Maurice Rousseau of Manchester; three children, Deborah Adinolfo and her husband, James, and Brian Rousseau all of Manchester, and Derek Rousseau and his wife, Nicole, of Bow; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Katelyn, Jessica, Jeffrey, Caleb and Colby; two brothers, Robert Guilbert of Waterville Valley and Richard Guilbert of Florida; one aunt and cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Danny Guilbert.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Parish of the Transfiguration, Manchester. Private burial is at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester at the convenience of the family.
