Constance A. Hendry, 79, of Manchester died April 5th, 2016 at the Elliot Hospital after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on May 21, 1936, she was the daughter of Francis and Wanda (Walicki) Dowd. She was educated in the local parochial school system and graduated from St. Joseph High School for Girls.
Constance enjoyed spending time at the ocean and above all else, cherishes time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband James Hendry in 1999.
Family members include her five daughters, Sharon Healey and husband David Pariseau of Manchester, Pamela Lynch and husband Peter of Spofford, Shawna Hendry-Blanchard and husband Mark Blanchard of Keene, Patricia Carbone and husband David of Cranston, RI, Karyn Baer and husband David of Webster; her grandchildren, Peter, Matthew, Kayla, Tana, Caitlin, Alyssa, Kyle, Daniel, Dylan, and Keegan; her great-grandsons, Brodyn, Parker, Camden, and Noah; one brother, Francis Dowd Jr and wife Maryann of Manchester; one sister, Joan Dunn and husband Donald of Manchester;
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 11, 2016 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Urn burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association, Care of Breathe NH, 145 Hollis St, Unit C, Manchester, NH 03101 or to the CMC Heart Institute of NH, 100 McGregor St, Manchester, NH 03102.
