Constance C. Shedd

Constance C. Shedd, 83, of Manchester died May 19, 2021, at Villa Crest Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on February 1, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Harold Cook and Lillian (Sansoucie) Ferry. She was educated in Manchester and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Constance worked for Manchester Knitted Fashion for many years, but dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Constance enjoyed time playing bingo and going to casinos. She loved going for walks with her husband Richard, as they were inseparable. Her true passion was spending time with her family. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Surviving family members include her beloved husband of 65 years, Richard O. Shedd, Sr. of Manchester: four children, Brad Shedd and wife Vesna of N. Carolina, Kathleen Camire and husband Jean of Manchester, Lisa Smith of Tilton, and Michael Shedd and wife Caryn of Dunbarton; eleven grandchildren, Christine, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Michaela, Cody, Noah, Devon, Dylan, Nathan, Christine, and Kaylie; nine great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jaiden, Xavier, Brady, Alexander, Leilani, Reilly, Jaxson, and Amelia. She was predeceased by both parents, one son, Richard Shedd, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Christopher Camire, Alexandra Bryant and Lauren Marquis; two sisters, Janet Phelps and Beatrice Bourassa; and two brothers, Robert and Everett Cook.
There are no calling hours. Committal prayers will take place at 10:00 am on Friday in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
