Constance D. Dionne, 100, of Manchester, died September 14, 2023 at St. Teresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a period of declining health.
A member of the Greatest Generation, Connie was born in Manchester on March 13, 1923 to Stanislas and Mary (Burke) Dionne. She was a graduate of West High School and was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She worked at New England Telephone & Telegraph for many years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Association Canado-Americaine. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. George Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Church in Manchester. Connie enjoyed traveling, theater, visiting museums and time spent with her family.
Connie was predeceased by her parents and five siblings, Robert Dionne, Edgar Dionne, Richard Dionne, Madeleine Letendre and Theresa Roberge as well as her nephews, Roderick Letendre, Gregory Dionne and David Dionne.
She is survived by nephews and nieces, Mark Letendre, Ronald Dionne, Richard Dionne, Eric Letendre, Roberta Dionne, Roger Roberge, Deborah Welzel and Reverend J. Joseph Dionne C.Ss.R and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A calling hour is Wednesday (9/20) from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (9/20) at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
