Constance Doris Dostie

Constance Doris Dostie, 77, of Bedford, died peacefully March 3, 2017 at Bedford Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, after a period of declining health.

Born in Manchester on July 10, 1939, she was the daughter of William and Lorette (Paquette) Harrington. Known to her friends and family as Connie, she was educated in Manchester and worked for many years as a Quality Control Inspector for Prevue Products and later as a facility manager for Devine, Millimett & Branch before retiring in 2002.

Connie loved bowling, playing Bingo with friends and spending time at the beach with her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Family includes her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert William Dostie of Bedford; four children, David William Dostie and wife Diane of Allenstown, Kathleen Ann Longfellow and husband William of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas Robert Dostie of Sierra Vista, AZ, and Robert William Dostie Jr. of Manchester; and numerous grand children and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, William (Billy) Harrington.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
