Constance Gonneville

ee Sr. Constance Gonneville (Sr. Mary Adrien), 93, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd., died September 22, 2001 in her residence.

ee Born in New Bedford, MA on May 31, 1908, she was the daughter of Adrien and Bertha (Ferland) Gonneville.e She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1925 and made her final profession in 1933.

ee Sr. Gonneville earned a bachelor of arts degree from Notre Dame College, Manchester.e She then taught at parochial elementary schools in New Hampshire at Nashua and Rollingsford; in St. Albans, VT and North Grosvenordale, CT.

ee She served as superior for many years including Superior of the Community at Notre Dame College.e She retired to St. George Manor, Manchester in 1983.

ee The family includes cousins, nephews and friends. .

e A mass of Christian burial was celebrated September 25th in the chapel of St. George Manor.e Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
