Constance Hagen

July 21, 1933 — January 17, 2010

Constance (Hamel) Hagen, 76, of Bedford, died January 17, 2010. She was born in Bedford on July 21, 1933, and was the daughter of Joseph and Hortence (Bergeron) Hamel.

Many years ago she worked in the kitchen at the former Sacred Heart Hospital.

Connie took the time to see to all of her family's needs, as well as visiting the sick in nursing homes. She spent much of her time volunteering in activities at her parish, St. Elizabeth Seton.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who was devoted to her church, her husband and to her family.

IN HER LIFE: Family members include her husband, Robert Hagen, of Bedford; a daughter, Brenda Rathburn, of Bedford; a son, Roger Hagen, of Manchester; a granddaughter, Rachel; one sister, Violet Arnold; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St Elizabeth Seton Church, Wednesday, January 20, 2010.

Burial took place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Donald St, Bedford.
