Cora D. Gauthier

Sr. Cora Gauthier (Sr. Odile), 80, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester, NH died July 11, 2002 at St. Joseph Residence, Manchester.

Born in Marieville, RI on August 13, 1921, she was the daughter of Osias and Elise (Tetreault) Gauthier. She entered the Sisters of Presentation of Mary in 1945, made her first profession in 1948 and made her final profession in 1953.

Sr. Gauthier worked in food services for the Congregation in New Hampshire at Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, Rivier College in Nashua and St. Marie and St. Joseph Residences both in Manchester; in Rhode Island at Woonsocket, West Warwick and Coventry. She retired to St. Joseph Residence in 1994.

The family includes five sisters, Yvonne Martel of Brockton, MA, Claire Jardin of N. Providence, RI, Constance Proulx of Coventry, RI, and Therese Arruda and Jeannette Arruda both of N. Providence, RI; one aunt; several nieces and nephews

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday July 16, 2002 in the Resurrection Chapel. Burial was in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson, NH
