Sr. Corinne Hebert, CSC (Sister Mary Blanche-Agnes), 74, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester died March 5, 2006 at the Holy Cross Health Center, Manchester NH.
She was born in Rochester on February 14, 1932 and was the daughter of Romeo and Blanche (Palmer) Hebert.
Sr. Corinne entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1950 and made her final profession in 1957. She served the Congregation for over 55 years.
Sr. Corinne earned a BA from Notre Dame College, Manchester and a MA from St. Michael's College, VT. She also obtained an advanced certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education from Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Sr. Corinne taught in elementary and high schools under the direction of the Sisters of Holy Cross in St. Albans, VT, Springfield and New Bedford, MA; Nashua, Somersworth and Laconia, NH. She also served as principal at Holy Rosary School in Rochester, NH and Sacred Heart School in Laconia, NH for several years.
Sr. Corinne also served in her capacity as Pastoral Care Minister in parishes, prisons and at Holy Cross Health Center, Manchester NH.
Family members include her brother Ronald Hebert and her sister-in-law Nancy from Rochester, NH; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday March 8, 2006 in St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St. Manchester.
Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery, So. Beech St. Manchester.
