Cornelius J. Cadigan

Cornelius J. Cadigan Jr. of Hooksett died on May 30, 2015 at the Elliot Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born in Boston on December 5, 1939 to Cornelius J. and Ethel (Martel) Cadigan.

He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and later graduated from Boston College class of 1967. He entered the US Coast Guard where he spent 30 years before retiring and going to work for the MBTA in Boston.

He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed Florida spring training. He loved the beaches but above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Family members include his long time beloved companion, Maureen M. Downing of Hooksett, his two daughters, Susan Cadigan of Buzzard Bay, MA, Jill A. R. Cadigan of Duxbury, M; his two sons, Neil J. Cadigan of Duxbury, MA., Sean Cadigan of Newburyport, MA; seven grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his step son, William Falzone of Hooksett; his step-daughter, Pamela Dunlap of Boscawen, NH; and his sister, Dolores Connolly of Summit, NJ; and his former wife Mary M. Cadigan.

A memorial service with Military Honors will take place at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH at a time to be announced. Please refer to our web site www.lambertfuneralhome.com for update.
