Craig P. Helbert, Sr., 40, of Manchester, died June 17, 2022, at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cambridge, MA on March 28, 1982, he was the son of Donna M. (Chiodo) Gould and John F. Helbert III. He was educated in the Medford, MA school system and after obtaining his CDL license, he worked for many years as a truck driver for various companies. He most recently was employed with Loomis.
Craig enjoyed sports and playing video games. He especially enjoyed working and was proud of his career as a truck driver. Craig was very loving, kind, had a great sense of humor and was an incredible dancer. Above all else, he was a great, devoted and loving father to his sons. Craig will be remembered as a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin.
Family members include two sons, Craig “CJ” Helbert, Jr. and Camden Helbert , both of Allenstown; his mother, Donna M. Gould and husband Michael of Manchester; his father, John F. Helbert III and wife Christina of Wilmington, MA; his maternal grandmother, Carol (Clifton) Martin of Spring Hill, FL; his paternal grandparents, Dr. Douglas Wales and wife Anita of Westboro, MA; four siblings, John Helbert IV, wife Yvonne, and their daughter Zoey of Wilmington, MA, Nicole Helbert of Wilmington, MA, Amber Gould of Manchester and Michelle Gould of Salem, MA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be from 4 pm to 6 pm on Thursday, with a memorial service beginning promptly at 6 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104.
