Cynthia M. Simard

Cynthia M. Simard, 82, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in her home.

Born in Manchester on October 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Yvette (Couture) Carroll. She was raised in Manchester and graduated from St. Anthony High School class of 1960.

After graduating from high school, she began her career at New England Telephone Company where she was employed for 30 years. During this time, she met and married the love of her life, David P Bartlett. After retiring as a manager from the phone company, she returned to the workforce for ADP Totalsource where she worked another 20 years, finally retiring at the age of 77.

A devoted mother she was kind, considerate, fun - spirited and her loving nature endeared her to many. In her earlier years, Cynthia loved her frequent trips through the Dairy Queen drive thru, where she was affectionately known as "medium chocolate cone Cindy." Most recently, she enjoyed watching forensic crime stories and was an avid fan of 48 Hours, although she often said she would rather be working. Above all, she cherished the times spent with her family, especially during the holidays. Her favorite time of year was Christmas when the family got together in a caravan to explore the holiday lights. The most revered memories will always be Christmas eve and opening gifts through the night.

Cynthia was predeceased by her parents and her husband David P. Bartlett in 1998.

She is survived by her children Kenneth Simard, Sr, and his fiancée Laurie Campbell of Goffstown; Linda Cucharale and her husband Mark of Punta Gorda Florida, and Deb White and her husband Dana of Manchester; her grandchildren Kenneth Simard, Jr and Larry Allard, Jr, and 6 great grandchildren.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be on Thursday (5/29) from 6 to 8 p.m., at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (5/30) at 11:00 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
