He was born in Manchester, September 22, 1948 and was the son of Albert F. and Esther (Campbell) Battistelli. He had been a resident of Bedford the past 35 years.
Mr. Battistelli was employed by Associated Grocers for more than 30 years.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Sweeney Post, and Post 79.
He had been a very active member of the Teamsters Union Local 633. He was also a member of the Pointer Fish & Game Club. During the 1980's he was involved with Bedford Little League.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid Yankees fan.
IN HIS LIFE: He leaves his wife of 36 years, Beverly A. (White) Battistelli of Bedford; a son, Daniel J. Battistelli Jr. and his wife, Cheri, of Bedford; a daughter, Lisa A. Bedard and her husband, Brian, of Bedford; two grandchildren, Chaz Bedard and Brooke Battistelli; his parents, Albert and Esther Battistelli of Manchester; four brothers, Alby Battistelli of Tuftonboro, Michael Battistelli of Manchester, Richard Battistelli of Raymond, and Randy Battistelli of Manchester; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral was held Thursday, May 7, 2009 in the Shaw Chapel, St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford, NH.
