Daniel “Danny” J. Fedor 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH, after a brief illness.  


Born in Irvington, New Jersey on September 5, 1947, he was the son to the late Daniel and Helen (Loferski) Fedor. He was raised and educated in Hudson, PA, Plains Township. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School, Plains Township, PA and earned his Bachelors’ degree from Kings College in Wilkes Barre, PA. 


 Danny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1966-1970 and is a Vietnam veteran. He received the good conduct medal and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal. 


 Danny was a devoted teacher with a career spanning 16 years. He taught math at Cardigan Mountain High School in Canaan, NH. He took a “brief break” from educating and was a computer programmer for 25 years before returning to teaching. He later retired from St. Joseph Regional Junior High School in Manchester, NH.


Danny was a longtime active member of the Granite State Marine Corps League, detachment #542. He was also a talented fiddle player and was an active member of the New England Fiddle Ensemble as well as a former Eagle Scout. 


 Danny had a great passion for music and photography. Above all he cherished the memories he made with family and friends. 


 Danny is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret “Peggy” (Dessoye) Fedor; his two sons, Daniel C. Fedor and his wife, Rochelle of Seattle, WA and Christopher K. Fedor and his partners, Staci Preece and Rae Love of Pflugerville, TX; granddaughter, Marlowe Fedor; sister, Andrea Koskulics and her husband, John of Freehold Township, NJ, sister-in-law, Elaine Fedor of Bald Mountain, PA and several other brother and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two brothers, David and Richard Fedor. 


A calling hour will be held on Friday (10/18) from 10:30am to 11:30am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 21 Main St., Hooksett, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated promptly at 11:30am in Holy Rosary Church. A graveside service will be held on Monday (10/21) at 10am at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Granite State MCL Detachment #542, P.O. Box 3857, Manchester, NH 03105-3857 or to The New England Fiddle Ensemble P.O. Box 77 Nottingham, NH 03292.
