Daniel C. Jameson, 69, of Raymond, New Hampshire, passed away on March 21, 2017 after a period of failing health. He was born in Concord, New Hampshire, August 5, 1947, the son of the late Kenneth C. and Thelma L. (Emery) Jameson.
He was a graduate of Concord High School, Class of 1965. After one year at the University of NH he enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam and Okinawa. Honorably discharged as an E5, he returned home to Athol, Massachusetts where he met his wife, Linda L. (Lawton) Jameson. They were married April 12, 1970 and would have been married 47 years in 2017.
He worked many years as a computer technician for Digital Equipment Corporation in Westminster, Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire, Hewlett-Packard and Compaq.
He was a proud gun owner and a member of the NRA, enjoying target shooting and reloading his own ammunition. He was an avid bass fisherman, taking his bass boat to Pawtuckaway Lake and Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire and many other lakes in New Hampshire.
Dan is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Linda Jean (Lawton) Jameson, a daughter, Debra J. White of Raymond, a son, Keith C. Jameson of Manchester, NH, and two grandchildren, Evan J. White and Alyssa M. White, both of Raymond. He also leaves behind three younger brothers, Scott A. Jameson of Plainfield, Vermont, Kevin C. Jameson, of Davenport, Florida, and Thomas E. Jameson of Chichester, New Hampshire, several nieces and nephews, and grand nieces. He also leaves behind four beloved dogs and one cat. He'll be missed.
Dan will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held when his grandchildren are home from college.
