Daniel S. Nieman

Daniel S. Nieman, 85, of Manchester, died on September 7, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, MA, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Chicago, IL on October 15, 1932 he was the son of Joseph P. and Anna (Zekas) Nieman. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951 and honorably served for 20 plus years, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. Upon retiring from military service, he worked as a Printing Press Operator at Moore Business Forms for 23 years before retirement in 1994.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Cecile D. (Morency) Nieman in 2013, and 8 siblings.

Family members include 3 children, daughter Patricia Nesbitt and husband Dennis of Pawley's Island, SC son Mark Nieman of Weare, and daughter Priscilla Picard and husband David of New Hampton; grandchildren Jennifer Jordan and husband Scott, George Kalioras, Sarah Nieman, Kimberly Nesbitt, and Keith Nieman.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, September 17, 2018 in St. Anthony's Church, 172 Belmont st. Manchester. A Committal service with military honors followed at Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester.
