Born in Sanford, ME on October 9, 1938, he was the son of Alpha and Jeanne (Gagnon) Perron. He was educated in the Sanford school system.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed by Sanmina Electronics for many years. Previously, he had worked as a truck driver for several years and had also been a part-time employee with Enterprise Car Rental.
Dan enjoyed NASCAR racing, annual cross-country road trips, playing pool, and saluting his many friends at Dunkin Donuts as he rode by on his motorcycle.
Above all else, he cherished time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn (Lackie) Perron of Manchester; his sons, Paul Perron of Manchester, Dennis Perron of Manchester, Kenneth Perron of Londonderry, Bruce Perron of Orlando, FL, and John Perron of Londonderry; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Madeleine Pinsonneault and husband Maurice of Goffstown, Rachel Perry and Roger of Manchester; many nephews, nieces, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother David Perron and his former spouse Lorraine (Breton) Perron.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
