Daniel B. Pinard, 56, of Weare died June 17, 2007 at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester on February 13, 1951, he was the son of Conrad and Cecile (Lesage) Pinard. He lived in Manchester and Goffstown many years before moving to Weare in 2006.

He served with the 172nd Field Artillery Division of the New Hampshire Army National Guard for seven years and was discharged with the rank of sergeant.

Mr. Pinard worked for the Manchester Highway Department for 25 years. In retirement, he worked for the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester and for Easter Seals Special Transport Services.

He was a member of the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post 2.

He enjoyed the outdoors, sitting around a campfire, gardening, landscaping and wintering in Estero, FL.

The family includes his wife of 35 years, Muriel (Dubois) Pinard of Weare; a brother, Normand Pinard of Penacook; four sisters, Ann Groves of Hudson, Constance Rousseau of Manchester, Lucille Villemure of Goffstown and Susan Jaworski of Manchester; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

IN HIS LIFE: The family also includes brothers in law, James Groves, Thomas Villemure, Stanley Jaworski, Butch Dubois, Don Dubois, Bob Dumas and Tom Cronin; sisters in law, Doris Pinard, Cecile Dubois, Susan Dumas, Lisa Dubois and Donna Cronin; his mother in law, Julie Hebert and her husband, Arthur.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday June 21, 2007 at St. Lawrence Church, 1 East Union St., Goffstown. Graveside committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
