Daniel A. Raymond

He was born March 7, 1931 in Auburn, NH and was the son of Henry and Lydia (Martineau) Raymond.

Mr. Raymond served in the National Guard and later in the regular army from 1948 -1951. He was stationed in Germany and served in the 1st Infantry Division, 18th Infantry Regiment.

In 1953 he married the love of his life, Roberta (Margaretis) Raymond, who died in 2006.

He was a retired member of the Teamster's Union Local 633 and had worked as a truck driver for Silver Brothers for 36 years.

He loved boating, fishing and had a great love of animals. He was especially happy being with his family.

Family members include a daughter, Dena Vaudrien and her husband Wallace, of Hooksett; five sons, Steven Raymond and his fiancee Marcia Lappin, of Burbank, CA, Kenneth Raymond and his wife Cora, of San Pedro, CA, James Raymond of Manchester, Chris Raymond of Auburn, and Thomas Raymond and his wife Susan, of Draper, UT; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Godbout of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A committal service was held Monday December 10, 2007 at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Encryptment followed.
