Daniel L. Sayer, 66, of Manchester, died June 23, 2021 at White River Junction VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT after a brief illness.
He was born in Exeter on November 6, 1954 to Mary Goonan. He later served in the U.S. Navy.
Daniel worked with U.S. Customs in Boston and then as a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for many years.
He was a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, golf, and all Boston professional sport teams.
He was predeceased by a son, Scott Sayer in 2013; a brother, Joseph Jerome and his stepfather, Wally Jerome
Daniel is survived by three children, Bridget McAdams of Bedford, Daniel Sayer and his wife, Crystal, of Manchester and Erik Sayer and his wife, Iesha, of Coral Gables, FL; four grandchildren, Darren Sayer, James McAdams, Stella Sayer and Gabriel Sayer; two siblings, David Jerome and Sheila Mann; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A walk-through visitation is Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A cemetery committal service is Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
