David E. Bourget

Born in Manchester, he was the son of Gerald and Dorothy (Murphy) Bourget. He resided in Los Angeles, CA for several years and lived in Manchester for most of his life.

David previously worked as a mechanic in Manchester.

Before becoming ill, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping at the beach with his wife Marjorie. He enjoyed working on classic cars with his son Sam and daughter Janice. His friends could always count on him for advice and help with their vehicles. A highlight in his day was spending time with his grandson David.

Family members include his wife of 34 years Marjorie (Berry) Bourget; a daughter, Janice Allen and her husband, Keith; his grandson, David Allen; a son, Samuel Bourget and their family dog, of Manchester; his mother, Dorothy (Murphy) Bourget of Contoocook; a sister, Darlene Isabelle and her husband, Bruce, of Contoocook; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Bourget of Manchester.

He was also predeceased by his dog, Molly and his cat, Meme.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 335 Smyth Rd., Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to Bedford Animal Rescue League, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
