David F. Connare

David F. Connare, 65, of Manchester, died June 7, 2006, at his residence after a brief illness.

He was born in Manchester, May 20, 1941 and was the son of John A. and Leola (Viviers) Connare. He attended the University of New Hampshire and had been a Manchester resident all of his life.

Mr. Connare worked in the insurance industry for many years.

He was a communicant of St. Marie Church where he was an altar server and was active with the Healing Ministry. He was also one of the initiators of the Men's Group for Fellowship and Spiritual Direction. He had been active in the Manchester Rotary Club, the Manchester Y.M.C.A. , as well as other Manchester area civic organizations.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife, running, playing golf, and listening to jazz.

Family members include his wife of 21 years, Donna J. (O'Keefe) Connare of Manchester; two sons, David F. Connare, II of Auburn, and Daniel Bundy of Massachusetts; two daughters, Patricia Connare and Christen Bergeron, both of Manchester; two grandchildren, Caitlin Connare and Colleen Connare; a sister, Betty Ann Lavallee of North Hampton, NH; a brother, Edward Connare of New Smyrna Beach, FL; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Jack Connare, and a sister, Cathleen Connare.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday June 10, 2006 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
