David P. Garceau Sr., 44, of Manchester, died January 20, 2005, after a sudden illness.
Born in Fitchburg, MA, July 13, 1960, he was the son of Norman and Rita (Richard) Garceau. He lived in Connecticut for many years and had been a Manchester resident the past 10 years.
He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and the beach.
IN HIS LIFE: He leaves his wife of 3 e years, Nancy (Cassidy) Garceau of Manchester; two sons, David Garceau Jr. Torrington, CT, and Nicholas Garceau of Manchester; a daughter, Michelle Garceau of Torrington, CT; a grandson, Micah Garceau of Tampa, FL; a sister, Denise Sica of Bristol, CT; a brother, Joseph Garceau of Bristol, CT;Many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Joanne Plante of Winstead, CT.
Calling hours were Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St. A prayer service was conducted at the conclusion of calling hours at 7 pm.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
